Bittern Lodge is praised for its tranquil lakeside location, cleanliness, and comfort, with many guests enjoying the hot tub and picturesque views. The lodge is well-furnished and considered a home away from home by several visitors. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of amenities are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests looking to return.
Most reviews highlight the lodge's cleanliness, with guests finding it to be clean and comfortable. However, a few guests mentioned dust and cobwebs, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is consistently praised for its peacefulness, lakeside views, and proximity to park facilities. It's also noted as a great spot for fishing and plane spotting, contributing to a high score.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and powerful shower. Some discomfort due to a mattress issue and a stiff front door are noted, slightly affecting the score.
The lodge's facilities, including the hot tub and fishing peg, are appreciated, but some guests suggest maintenance and upgrades. The lack of Wi-Fi and some kitchen amenities are also mentioned.
While guests mention a warm welcome and some nice touches, there is no consistent mention of gifts or extra thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category.
An attractive log cabin in Tattershall Lakes holiday park, set amidst 365 acres of woodland, extensive grassland and lakes. With a modern, open plan interior, the lodge is ideal for families and friends to partake in the excellent on-site facilities. Overlooking Duck Lake, it is comfortably furnished to a high standard, with the added luxury of patio doors leading to your private hot tub on the decked veranda, overlooking the lake; wonderful to relax in with a glass of bubbly at the end of a busy day! At one extreme, hire a jet ski for an invigorating ride and at the other, take a walk around the lake with the binoculars for a spot of birdwatching. The surrounding area is peppered with pretty market towns, including Louth and Horncastle, whilst the lovely village of Woodhall Spa is nearby and the beautiful cathedral city of Lincoln is well worth visiting with its majestic castle set high on the hill overlooking the medieval streets. A perfectly located Tattershall cottage lodge for all the family.

The view over the lake is amazing, the beds and shower luxurious. This is on top of the activities provided by away resorts, which the children enjoyed. My only criticism is lack of baking trays, so pretty minor, everything else was first class.
