Luxury, breathtaking lodge, new in 2020. Spacious and splendour master king-size double room with large en suite toilet and shower. Quirky den-like bunk beds in the second bedroom. Single bed in third bedroom. Family bathroom with overhead shower. With a striking appearance – including a split-level roofline this holiday lodge immediately sets it apart. The open-plan living area is very spacious, lined by whitewash rough sawn timber walls and full of rustic charm. Fully-equipped, shaker style kitchen, made complete with a feature island breakfast bar, housing the dishwasher and wine cooler along with extra storage space. Large open doors leading onto large decking area with hot tub, hosting stunning lakeside setting.

We stayed in Lakeside casa 14. The lodge is absolutely beautiful. You can tell that everything has been fitted out to a luxury standard. We had a few issues with our lodge including the heating/hot water not working, shower tray filling up with water, remote control not working and the hot tub filter slipping off repeatedly. I must say, when the staff were approached about these problems, they couldn't do more to support and rectify the problems. The general manager came early Saturday morning to attend to the boiler after we called him. He was friendly and sorted it within the hour. We went on to have no further problems. When I mentioned the shower tray, he nipped in and sorted it whilst we were out and the reception team gave me some new batteries for the remote control. It was disappointing that we had these things occur on a 3 night break but the staff were super and couldn't have done more. I didn't realise that not all the beds would be made up for our arrival. As there were five of us in a lodge with 7 beds, 2 were unmade. Unfortunately these were the bunk beds that my children were dying to sleep in, so Friday night was spent stripping the made beds and remaking the bunk beds. The one gripe which has been mentioned on other reviews is the WiFi. I do think this should be factored into the cost of the lodge as there is absolutely no signal on the site. It would have made life so much easier to have that ready to go when we arrived. The lodges would also benefit from their numbers being lit up. We arrived after dark and it was really hard to locate the lodge we were staying in. Everything aside, we would definitely consider staying again. The lodge is wonderful and the staff were great.
