We loved the lodge. Private, stylish, cozy and well equipped. The only complaint was the lighting. Being in the woods it was quite dark inside and we found the lighting difficult for reading. Otherwise we had a great time and the owners were very helpful when we asked for anything. The location was good. The small village has a friendly pub but it's easy to get to Louth, Horncastle and the seaside. The Lincolnshire Wolds countryside is beautiful.

Lovely short break, the cottage is very comfortable, super well equipped and easy to find.The village has some nice walks with other places to visit in easy reach. It was a huge shame that the pub was closed when we visited as it would have made the perfect stop after completing a walking route. The cottage setting is lovely & quiet, facing into the trees you very much do feel away from it all. A lovely spot for a quiet escape x

The Lodge in the Woods is absolutely fantastic . The most beautiful setting, everything we needed. The dogs loved the woods and looking at the rabbits . Only 20-30 mins to beaches . The owners were lovely and left us lovely gifts to.We will definitely return .
