A lovely, luxurious bungalow residing in the hamlet of Mavis Enderby in Spilsby. This beautiful property sits in 23 acres of the owner's land and is approached via quiet country lanes, offering glorious woodland on your doorstep with winding footpaths to explore, and four picturesque lakes, making Heron Lodge the perfect place to rest and unwind. The front door leads you into the open plan living area, with welcoming vivid colours, luxury furnishings and elegant finishing touches. You will feel warm and delighted from the moment you step inside the property. The comfy sitting area has TV and DVD player, and leads on to a dining area with table, chairs and breakfast bar.
Next to this is a fully-equipped kitchen and just off from this is the utility room with a place to keep your muddy boots after a pleasant country stroll. At the other end of the lodge are three bedrooms; one double with a beautiful en-suite, one twin and one single. Heron Lodge is perfectly located for exploring the local area, why not take a trip to the picturesque market town of Horncastle, or have a spot of lunch in the delightful villages of Woodhall Spa or Conningsby. The market town of Spilsby has a range of characterful pubs, shops and restaurants all set amongst quaint traditional streets, and the historic Cathedral city of Lincoln is also only a 30 mile drive away.

The town is surrounded by countryside and villages worthy of exploring, whilst Horncastle is just 15 minutes’ drive away, renowned for its shops and antiques centres where you’re certain to pick up a reminder of your time in this lovely location. Spend the afternoon at Snipe Dale Country Park, which offers 200 acres of countryside with way marked trails, picnic areas and a variety of wildlife. Or head east to find yourself beside the sea within a 20-minute drive, where you’ll find Skegness with its traditional seaside attractions.

I can't think of anything that Denise and Andy could improve on. Evidence of that is the suggestions box for guests to leave a note of any improvements that could be made..it's empty so I think that says it all! We'd love to return in Summer when the days are longer to make the most of the beautiful grounds surrounding the Lodge.
