Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue (April-October). Children’s play area. 2 small dogs welcome. Electric car charging point (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 12 steps with handrail from the parking area to the garden and there is a stream in the shared grounds, 20 yards away.. Situated in the heart of the village of Welton le Marsh and with a stream running through the shared grounds, this superb detached cottage provides a lovely base from which to explore the area, or simply sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet. The cottage has it’s own secure garden but the grounds are shared with other properties on-site. For your comfort, the owner has thoughtfully provided bathrobes and slippers. Cyclists and walkers will enjoy exploring the local lanes and countryside. The market towns of Alford, Louth and Spilsby are all within half an hour, and Horncastle which is well known for its antique and collectables shops is 7 miles. To the east, the traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 8 miles away with its sandy beaches and nature reserve and is always worth a day out, and Lincoln which is well known for its cathedral and castle is approximately a 40-minute drive to the west. There is a traditional country pub with a restaurant a short walk away. Beach 8 miles. Shop 3 miles.

Our second stay at Boothby Cottage and we had a lovely time again. The cottage is in a very quiet rural area so very peaceful, gardens are well maintained and lots of space inside and out. The cottage is well-equipped and comfortable. Home-from-home, and fantastic new range cooker (which I am envious of).Thank you for the welcome pack too. The only small mention is that the only pub in the town was closed throughout our stay (under new ownership) so weren’t able to walk our dogs nearby and have a drink, which is what we did some nights on our previous stay. Not sure when (and if) it will reopen as a pub. However, this didn’t spoil our holiday, but worth noting if it’s important to other guests.

2nd stay at Boothby Cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely and clean, nice little touches with a welcome pack, towels and robes. Ideal for my elderly parents with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs.Location is great for exploring the area, especially the beaches.A restful stay and would come back again
