Guests say

Rose Cottage receives glowing praise for its spotless presentation, well-equipped kitchen, and exceptionally secure, spacious garden—ideal for dogs and families. Guests highlight the peaceful, remote setting, relaxing hot tub, and thoughtful touches throughout. The property is well-placed for exploring Skegness and nearby villages, with easy access to beaches and local amenities. While a few guests noted minor issues with mattresses, TV signal, and WiFi, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Multiple reviews describe the cottage as spotless, very clean, and beautifully maintained. Only positive remarks were made regarding cleanliness, with no significant complaints.

The cottage is praised for its peaceful, remote location, yet remains conveniently close to Skegness, Burgh le Marsh, and beaches. Some mention narrow lanes, but this is seen as a minor inconvenience.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with cosy lounges and beds. However, several reviews mention the main bed being too soft or needing a new mattress, which slightly lowers the score.

The property is highly rated for its extensive facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, enclosed garden, sun loungers, and entertainment options. Minor issues with WiFi and TV signal were noted but addressed.

Guests frequently mention thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, dog treats, bird food, and seasonal decorations. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Spent a wonderful 6 nights here with my wife, youngest daughter and 2 dogs. The cottage is lovely, was very clean on arrival and the welcome basket was a nice touch, thank you! We found it had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking breakfast and dinner etc, same with the bbq. Comfortable beds and also comfortable sofas which made for pleasant evenings watching a family film. The hot tub was a great finish to the day when been out exploring and also on the odd day just lazing around the cottage. The dogs loved having free roam of the garden which is quite large and well enclosed which was great as one of them is always keen to escape but we had no such trouble here. Overall we couldn't fault the cottage, is not too far from shops and there's plenty around not too far away for days out. Will definitely be returning and hopefully soon. Thanks!

Really lovely quiet and remote place, enjoyed a relaxing stay with excellent weather. The garden is great and secure to let dogs run free, the hot tub was great. Everything needed to enjoy a great stay, and positioned close enough to get around by car to explore. Some quite narrow roads which just need care when driving.
