Had a lovely time. Lodge is beautiful. Plumbing needs looking at as when water is draining, there is a lot of noise. The toilet seats seem a bit short don't quite fit the rim.Hot tub was amazing and generally had a lively time and would recommend.

On the next day customer service was very poor but after several attempts, they provided clean bedsheet and towels.

We were really looking forward to staying here, especially as the lodges are new and the seaside is only a mile away. It does have the potential to be a great lodge but sadly didn't live up to expectation. The outside photo of the lodge that is advertised isn't the lodge you get and many features from the inside photos are missing in reality. There is a dvd/blu ray player & speaker advertised yet when you get there all there is are power & usb cables hanging out from where they should be.Same as the master bedroom, power & aerial cable on the wall yet no TV.Feels like the lodge isn't finished yet and has been rushed to be ready. Not enough bath towels provided and no hand towels whatsoever. Oven trays etc were dirty, lodge not as clean as it should be with coins underneath sofa area and cereal left in the dining area.So much for allowing extra time for deep cleaning. The worst of all was that the hot tub wasn't checked the whole time we were there.Nobody changed the chlorine tablets at all or checked the PH levels. After a couple of days the hot tub water was dirty and at a low level and made our skin extremely irritable. By day 3 it was unusable. And why position it tucked away arouse side when you're looking directly into the neighbours bedroom windows and vice versa?.Surely it would be better positioned at the front of the lodge on the large decking area there? The decking around the hot tub wasn't cut to size so you have a jagged gap around it with the lovely view of what looks like chicken bones underneath. Our little boy almost got his leg stuck. It's so badly positioned that you cannot physically get around the back or sides of it to remove and put the lid on properly. It just hasn't been thought out very well. Much like the view of what seems to be a communal field which other guests use to let their dogs do their business. Several times we'd be eating lunch or dinner on the veranda with the charming view of a dog taking a steaming great dump only yards away.I did try to contact someone whilst we were away to discuss the hot tub not being checked or cleaned but could never get hold of anyone. So now we're home, with very sore irritable skin from a poorly maintained tub.If I'm paying close to £1000 for a weekend away, the least I expect is for the hot tub to be kept safe and clean. Not very good value for money and feel very let down and disappointed.
