A four bedroom lodge with one double bedroom with en suite toilet, one double bedroom with en suite shower and two bedrooms with full size twin beds. Bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.. Set in open farmland on the outskirts of Skegness, this park is far enough out of the town centre so you can enjoy a quieter break – yet close enough should you wish to visit all the attractions and entertainment, all within a 5-minute drive of the town centre.. 1 starExtremely disappointing condition for a lodge advertised as Platinum.We arrived to find the lodge in a filthy condition and had to clean parts of the accommodation ourselves. The problems went well beyond cleanliness.The sofa cushions were completely flat, collapsed and misshapen, providing virtually no support. The mattresses were heavily worn, with internal springs clearly noticeable through the surface. The carpets were coming away at the seams, there was a broken en-suite extractor fan and damaged internal fittings.The sofa was particularly unacceptable. A member of our party has a spinal condition and we specifically raised the issue with reception because sitting on the sofa was causing significant discomfort. The issue was not properly passed to maintenance and remained unresolved. We ended up using spare duvets and pillows as makeshift padding simply to make the sofa usable.This is supposed to be Platinum accommodation.Having previously complained about the same lodge, we were given a written assurance that a full deep clean and review of the soft furnishings would take place during the winter maintenance period. Returning to find severely degraded furniture and mattresses raises serious questions about whether this work was ever carried out.The lodge does have some positives. The shower had good pressure and the hot tub was clean on arrival. Unfortunately, these basic amenities do not compensate for the overall condition of the accommodation.The lodge felt tired, worn and poorly maintained rather than Platinum.If this is Coastfields' definition of Platinum accommodation, then their definition and mine are clearly very different.Based on the condition we experienced, I would not book this lodge again or stay at any Coastfields site.

Absolutely stunning lodge and the facilities were spot on.

Came for a golf mini break. The chalet was clean and spacious and very close to the golf course. I would highly recommend it and I'm sure we will be back next year.
