Whether you are looking for a base to explore this area of the east coast from or simply somewhere to get away from it all and relax in the hot tub, then Kingfisher Cottage is ideal. Set close to the River Steeping, at the edge of the owners’ 80-acre arable farm, which guests are free to explore, there is the bonus of free river fishing within the grounds (license required). There is a shared tennis court as well to enjoy.
On the fringe of Wainfleet All Saints, and within a short walk, is a brewery which offers tours, an on-site pub and a bistro. Wainfleet All Saints is a quaint market town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a railway station. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just 5 miles away with its lovely sandy beach and family entertainment, including the Fantasy Island Theme Park. The National Trust properties of Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are within easy driving distance. Visit bird and seal sanctuaries along the coast, or take a trip to medieval Lincoln, with its famous castle and cathedral, just 40 miles away, across the scenic, rolling Lincolnshire Wolds countryside. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.. All properties: Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Access to owners arable farm. Hot tub for 6 (private). WiFi connection was a challenge but Chris from the owners worked his magic and by early evening we had WiFi Some instructions for the induction hob and oven would be useful as would a potato peeler The Settee is modern style and not to our preference because of its low backPlease be aware that there is no dishwasher Having said all that the location was perfect and the Cottage was warm and snug with a Lovely walk in showerTv’s in lounge and bedroom and greatHeated towel rail and a Fabulous Hot TubWe would recommend it without hesitation

Lovely little cottage, everything you could need for a break away. Others said the bed was uncomfortable but they must have got a new one because it was lovely. Lovely hot tub to relax in
