Guests say

Granary Cottage in Skegness offers a homely and comfortable stay with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. Guests enjoy the hot tub and the property's proximity to local amenities and attractions. While some find the cottage and its facilities in need of updates and maintenance, the overall experience is positive, with many guests appreciating the cleanliness and helpful staff.

The cottage is generally found to be clean, with very clean bedrooms and comfortable beds mentioned. However, some guests noted areas that could benefit from more thorough cleaning, such as dog hair on sofas and dirt around sink pipes.

The location is well-received for its easy access to Skegness, local walks, and village amenities. The setting is described as beautiful, and the property serves as a great base for exploring the area.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage homely, but some reviews mention an uncomfortable mattress and bench, and firm pillows. The overall comfort is seen as good but with room for improvement.

The facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen and hot tub, are appreciated, but several guests note the need for maintenance and updates, particularly in the bathroom. The hot tub maintenance frequency is also a concern.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Lovely cottage for the weekend,Chris was very helpful on arrival.Everything you needed in the cottage which was very clean.Loved the underfloor heating as it was a bit nippy outside.Hot tub very nice especially with a glass of bubbly.Only downside was the bathroom needs an update.Would book this property again

We found the cottage to be clean and well equipped, the hot tub was large but was only heated to 36degrees which isn’t very warm especially as it dropped even more. The mattress was also very lumpy and hard on the double bed. Overall with a couple of tweaks i would definitely recommend Granary cottage. The local pubs were nice and friendly the Woolpack had beautiful food.
