The Laurels is a peaceful location ideal for a relaxing holiday and a fisherman’s delight with well stocked coarse fishing lakes straight in front of the lodges. With each lodge built with comfort and quality throughout for guests to enjoy with large enclosed decks overlooking the lakes and private hot tubs to sit back soak and relax in. Complimentary robes and slippers are provided for your comfort.
The sandy beach of the east coast at Ingoldmells is just 1½ miles away with miles of quiet walks alongside the sea and plenty of opportunity for refreshment from beach side cafés. The popular seaside resort of Skegness is just 3½ miles away with its amusements, fun fair, aquarium and plenty of attractions for all the family to enjoy. Birdwatchers will enjoy exploring Gibralter Point Nature Reserve with its visitor centre and café. Because of a mixup we actually stayed in Sandy Shore, so I can only do a review on this lodge. Sandy Shore was almost brand new & everything was immaculate and clean. Beds were extremely comfy, TV’s in both bedrooms, and kitchen and lounge area fully equipped with everything you could need. Well stocked fishing lake so husband very happy. Great feature having a hot tub on the decking as the weather was perfect when we visited.The Laurels is a wonderful peaceful site ideal for a relaxing break and we hope to return again soon.If I could make a suggestion it would be to take some form of sun shade with you in good weather, as there are no parasols provided.
