Each Safari Tent has a hot tub to enjoy with an enclosed garden area.
Parking is not directly adjacent to the property but just a short stroll up a path.
Although our safari tents have a log burner to keep you cosy, please be prepared for cooler temperatures during the colder months, as this is a glamping experience rather than a fully heated accommodation.. The Woods at Herons Mead are part of our Wanderwood collection and are situated in a semi rural location within a short drive to the beach, the lodges are all new for 2024 and are bespoke designed to offer a fabulous luxury break. From the moment you arrive you can relax in your beautiful lodge with its bubbling outdoor hot tub and rustic finish. This really is a place of peace and tranquillity. Amazing stay once again at herons mead! This time me, my husband and small dog chose to stay in there new safari tents. We stayed for 3 nights, they have everything you require for a short weekend break. The only thing I would comment on is that the log burner is the only form of heat (i know it is a tent after all) this isn't a criticism in anyway, but maybe a couple of small electric heaters would be handy specially for the people that feel the cold like me. We will definitely be back again wether in this accommodation or any of there other amazing stays. Thank you again and see you soon for sure 😊
