Guests say

Bloom Lodge offers a peaceful and private retreat, highly praised for its relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent hot tub. Guests appreciate the well-equipped lodges, convenient location near Skegness, and on-site restaurant. While most found the accommodation clean and comfortable, some noted minor maintenance issues, occasional flies, and areas needing a refresh. Overall, visitors enjoyed their stays and would recommend the property for a relaxing getaway.

Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, with several reviews highlighting spotless accommodation. However, a few mentioned issues such as cobwebs, dirty cutlery, stained carpets or sofas, and occasional rubbish, which slightly lowered the overall impression.

The location is frequently praised for its peaceful setting, privacy, and proximity to Skegness and local amenities. Guests appreciated the quiet surroundings and easy access to attractions, making it ideal for a relaxing break.

Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, mentioning cosy interiors, good beds, and relaxing hot tubs. Some noted the furniture and bedding were a bit tired or worn, but overall comfort levels remained high.

Facilities such as the hot tub, kitchen amenities, and on-site restaurant were well received. Some guests experienced minor issues with maintenance (e.g., broken fridge, non-working hot tub speakers, tired decor), but these did not significantly detract from the overall experience.

Guests appreciated thoughtful touches like tea, coffee sachets, and basic cleaning supplies on arrival, as well as responsive communication from hosts. Please note that such gifts or extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

The lodge itself was a good layout for 2 people, kitchen/diner, double bedroom and bathroom, spacious enough and the hot tub was set into a covered veranda. The verandas are very private from other lodges.Unforuneatly some of the facilities in the lodge were a little tired and unkempt. The bathroom had shower seal that needs replacing as it has blackened areas in it, the hot tub cover looked untidy and poorly kept as bits fall off of it when using it(it is also difficult too replace onto the hot tub due too the lack of space around it)The reception area is open during the day, but closes at 3pm except on arrival days when it opens again for 1 hour? Altough they do have a mobile number you call?Although the lodge we stayed in was fairly close to the main road, it was not un-obtrusive.There is a electric insect catcher in the lodge which you will need to leave on at all times, as the lodge backs on to fields and bushes.I did attempt to leave feedback before I left, but there didn't appear to be available forms?I maybe would return to Herons Mead, if the lodges were in a better state of repair.

Clean and had everything that we needed. Easy to find and great that there was a key safe as we were arriving after the closure of reception.
