We very much enjoyed our week at this cottage - despite the grey skies and the rain! Our host was very helpful, and was quick to attend to any issues. The cottage was warm and welcoming; the sitting room is so cosy, and the kitchen is amazingly spacious. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and we were able to go on some stunning walks straight from the cottage. A lovely place, indeed!

Helpful and friendly host, so quick to reply. Extremely accommodating! We loved the surroundings, it's right next to a beautiful country walk through fields which was great for our doggies. The sitting room is very comfy and cosy which was lovely over the Christmas break. Big kitchen which was great for all the Xmas cooking, and it was nice to have the kitchen table to play games at. The only thing that I would mention is that the toilet wouldn't stop trickling with water, but apart from that the whole stay was fantastic! We would 😁 efinitely love to stay again, thank you!

Anvil Cottage is snug, cosy and very comfortable. It is situated in a delightful rural position, but is still only five miles from Louth, where all amenities can be found. It was marvellous walking our dog in splendid countryside. The cottage was spotlessly clean, the kitchen very well-equipped, lots of games were provided, beds were very comfortable and it was beautifully warm. Our host, Andy, could not have been nicer- really helpful, thoughtful and kind and he went that extra mile to ensure our short break was enjoyable. I highly recommend Anvil Cottage.
