We had a great stay. A little information on the local area and things to do would have been good but it's not hard to google things. Really good decor and had everything we needed. The welcome things esp the milk were very well received. Thank you. The walk in to Ashby was great as we had a dog and a pushchair and was so easy as it was pedestrianised. We met some lovely local people and hit the outdoor pool twice. Melbourne was a short drive and a fabulous spot. Thanks for having such a lovely house.

Lots of woodland walks about 10 minutes drive. Town centre very close, plenty of pubs. I will definitely be returning again.

Our dog loved the secure garden (which we don't have) and there was lots of lovely walking nearby. The location was perfect for us - we had a booked event to attend on the Saturday which was about a 6 minute drive away! Ashby is very pretty with lots of interesting history and things to see and it is very close to walk to from the lodge. The design and lay-out of the accommodation is perfect for two people. We would go again.
