Finished to a very good standard, this is a very comfortable and fantastic choice for couples, families, friends and business travellers when staying in the area, whether it’s for business or pleasure. Giving guests a home from home experience in this lovely part of Leicestershire. Just a short walk will take you into the centre of the town with all its local amenities including a wide range of shops and eateries where you’ll be able to taste the famous pork pie and the travel to other destinations via the railway station.
A number of attractions can be accessed from Melton Mowbray, such as the Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester, RAF Coningsby Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Museum at East Kirby. A 20-minute drive will take you to the breath-taking historic Belvoir Castle, where you can explore the castle and gardens. The magnificent 3000-acre Rutland Water can be reached in under half an hour and attracts visitors worldwide to enjoy water sports, bird watching, walking, and cycling. Take a trip aboard the Rutland Belle Cruiser, visit the famous ospreys at Egleton Nature Reserve, or browse around Barnsdale Gardens, designed by the late Geoff Hamilton. For outdoor pursuits, Twin Lakes, Sherwood Park, Rufford Country Park and Clumber Park are all well worth a day out, or you can enjoy a stroll alongside Grantham Canal with superb walks along the towpath. The market towns of Oakham, Stamford and Grantham are all nearby, and for serious shopping, Nottingham is a must.

Lovely, clean accommodation within a short walk into Melton Mowbray. There were just a couple of maintenance issues that I left a note for but nothing that would spoil our visit. A home from home with everything thought of, my friend wanted a boiled egg but no egg cups, I thought nothing of it, we improvised and she bought one, most people not an issue. Very clear instructions on the directions and access to the accommodation. Melton Mowbray is a lovely town with lots to do, nothing much open on a Monday but we found a nice place to eat, visited the market, shops, livestock market and museum. The museum was a little gem and worth visiting.
