Nice sized accommodation for a family or 2 couples. The games room with pool, table tennis and table football was ideal for an hour after a full day sight seeing. Families with kids will love it. Ideally located for visiting the local area with Leicester, Nottingham and Loughborough all within 30 mins. Cottage was clean and tidy with comfortable bed and sofa. The enclosed garden was ideal for our dogs. Off road parking. Communication with owner pre visit good.

A wonderful find in the little village of Asfordby near Melton Mowbray. A weekend away to celebrate my 34th anniversary. No need to do much, the house is clean and full of things to occupy oneself, such as loads of board games and jigsaws, and a pool table (which can double as table tennis) and table football in the annex which has its own bar to serve your celebration drinks from. Very comfortable beds round off a perfectly wonderful and relaxing weekend. We went on a short walk (there are many walks straight from the door) and ended up in the village pub, The Crown, which was welcoming and reasonably priced. Would love to come back as soon as I am able. Fay was a wonderful accommodating host, a pleasure to deal with.
