Guests say

The Coach House in Market Harborough is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and traditional furnishings. Guests enjoy the local walks, pubs, and attractions, finding it a peaceful retreat from the city. The property's character and warm hosts contribute to a comfortable stay, though some guests noted issues with heating and gate access.

Guests have had mixed experiences with cleanliness. While no specific reviews highlight impeccable cleanliness, one review mentioned that the property was not as clean as expected, citing stained toilet hinges and a dirty air fryer. However, there were no further complaints, suggesting that cleanliness is generally satisfactory.

The location is highly praised for its good pubs within walking distance, beautiful countryside, and proximity to local attractions. It serves as a good base for exploring Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, and Rutland, with guests appreciating the peacefulness and local walks.

The property is described as roomy, warm, and comfortable, with a comfy bed and air conditioning for summer. However, some guests mentioned that it took a while to heat up during a cold weekend, and the presence of sheets and blankets instead of duvets was unexpected.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and an AGA cooker being highlights. However, some guests found the lighting sombre and had issues with gate access. The property's maintenance is not heavily critiqued, but the mention of corroded toilet hinges suggests room for improvement.

There are no mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness of the hosts in this regard, and the score is set to null.

Our third New Year break at the Coach House and it was another lovely experience. Lots of space to spread out and plenty of things to do in the local area. Beds are comfortable and kitchen has everything you need to cook proper meals.

Lovely location, very peaceful, was lovely for a weekend away from the city. Good pubs in walking distance. Owners were very kind too. Very old school home attached to a beautiful house. Took a while to heat up as we stayed during a very cold weekend, but was warm once it got there. Well hope to return again as the price was very good for the experience. Thanks
