The Sleepy Explorer consists of three unique stays, the Globe, the Refuge and the Basecamp. Nestled in a two-acre mixed woodland, crowned by four inspiring American redwoods, it's the perfect space to disconnect, unwind, and tell stories round the campfire.

The area is back-to-basics with an hint of rustic luxury. Double beds with down duvets, and warm showers take the edge off roughing it but we are also trying to be as eco friendly as possible so you'll have your own composting loo and three different bins so we can hot compost, recycle and dispose of your rubbish accordingly.

We very much love being outdoors among the trees and fresh air and we appreciate the relaxing effect it provides us all. The many benefits of slowing down are instant; being without screens and spending quality time with friends and family around a camp fire, walking or sharing a meal and a bottle of wine - just being together.

Sharing this with like minded people brings us so much pleasure so we hope that you too switch off and love your stay at the Sleepy Explorer.

Hallaton is a small, picturesque village in the East Midlands, close to Market Harborough, Uppingham and Oakham. Close by we have great walks, good places to eat, Rutland Water reservoir and local markets. You can head into Leicester for a bit more action or enjoy the peace of the village.
