When we arrived there was a syringe on the door step (the type to administer calpol) a cable secure with the nail facing upwards. A dog bowl with roll up fag end's in and around the bowl and worst of all cooked chicken bones left in the grass infront of the lodge. My dog ate one of the bones and subsequently collapsed. Emergency trip to the night vet, life saving operation to remove the bone and a 3 day/night stay at the vets. £5500 later and one very poorly dog. Also once inside the lodge dirty cutlery and cups. The pots and pans are dirty and have seen better days. We have been to this lodge before, and enjoyed it, hence why we rebooked. But it was never like this before. Only positive was the couple of times we used the hot tub it was lovely and they have put a heater in the lodge which is nice.
