Lovely house and gardens. Conservatory was used all of the time. Dog loved the long garden and we loved the hot tub which was serviced everyday.

Booking of the cottage was easy, used the site for many years.But while we were at the cottage we experienced some very unsatisfactory situations. We struggled to find a contact number for cottages.com to report the issues. But eventually via live chat we were given the customer service number to use. After speaking to them about the problems. I was put on hold while she contacted the property agent. And we were offered satisfactory alternative accommodation. But maybe tighter inspections on properties offered would have prevent reoccurrence.

Beautiful house with so much potential if a little attention was paid the house & garden. It has many little traditional cottage features but with a little bit of effort could be so much more. The internet was poor and whilst it wasn’t really an issue was frustrating when it states has internet in the description . The garden needs a good tidy & declutter yes it’s in the country side so u expect to see wildlife but rats running across the garden when sat in the hot tub was not a nice experience. As a family of five we often struggle to find somewhere that caters for us all we used the cottage as a base with lots of days out. The Robin Hood pub in the village is beautiful highly recommend booking Sunday lunch if you are staying at this property.
