The property is located on the edge of the popular Derbyshire town of Matlock, which boasts grocery shops, a local pub, post office and swimming pool. Golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know that this cottage neighbours a golf club, while bird spotters can enjoy discovering the many feathered friends that call this area home. Cross the cobbled courtyard and pass through the spectacular glass fronted, double storey arch with French doors that lead you into this property s sitting room. With a beamed ceiling, wooden floor, striking fireplace with wood burning stove and colourful furniture, this is a bright and inviting room. At the other side of large glass fronted French windows is the dining room, which has a good sized table at which to enjoy your meals. Through the dining room is the well equipped kitchen, with wooden units, pretty splash back tiles and everything you should need throughout your stay. On the first floor are the two main bedrooms, one with a double bed and en suite shower room, the other with twin single beds. Both rooms are spacious with colourful bedding and far reaching rural views the family bathroom is also located on this floor. On the second floor, the third bedroom is located in the eaves. Full of character, this room has exposed beams, king post trusses, a sky light and two single beds. This room leads to a further seating area with sofa. Outside enjoy the large lawned garden and shared tennis court and games room which is well equipped to keep all the family entertained. This cottage is one of two cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 12 people, it is possible for 12 people to dine together in either of the barns the other is The Hayloft Matlock. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 king size bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms.. Air bed available on request to sleep a further 2 people. Electric oven and hob, microwave.
