I would strongly recommend anyone considering a break in this area to consider staying at The Barn! We were very impressed with how well appointed the property is.Beautifully decorated throughout, modern, clean and equipped with everything you need for day to day living. Outside there is a great private space with seating and a table ideal for alfresco dining and it catches sun all day! The village and surrounding area are lovely. Our host Ian was very friendly and welcoming and popped in a couple of times to make sure everything was to our liking.I really couldn't fault anything about our stay it was absolutely perfect!!

Very well-done barn conversion with solar panels on the adjacent garages and rainwater harvesting to flush the toilets. The way I cater for myself when I go away; I appreciate a full-size fridge freezer. Others may appreciate the washing machine and dishwasher. I was concerned there was a pub the other side of the back wall, but it is at a much lower level and all you can see from the kitchen window are the chimney pots and views of the houses and fields beyond.

We had four lovely nights staying at The Barn. Ian was lovely and super friendly. He checked in with us just after we arrived and also the day before we left to check everything was ok during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more. The cottage was gorgeous and clean and had everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect with two pubs just a minutes walk away and a short drive to all the go to spots in the peaks. We couldn’t recommend The Barn enough. Millie and Joe.
