Landlord very welcoming. Clean, and layout of the cottage thought out very well. The view out of the patio doors, lovely. There are plenty of places not too far away to visit. We were a little surprised that you had to strip the beds and put the sheets etc in a laundry bag, also the towels in a separate one. I do realise it’s self catering, but not had to do that at other cottage’s. But having said that would still return there.

The cottage is very well maintained. I'm beautifully decorated. The location is just outside chesterfield. The cottage itself is in the center of holy mooreside two minutes walk from two pubs and a small local shop. Plenty of local walks available from your doorstep. And if you're into fishing the local pond or dam is located five minutes away.

I would strongly recommend anyone considering a break in this area to consider staying at The Barn! We were very impressed with how well appointed the property is.Beautifully decorated throughout, modern, clean and equipped with everything you need for day to day living. Outside there is a great private space with seating and a table ideal for alfresco dining and it catches sun all day! The village and surrounding area are lovely. Our host Ian was very friendly and welcoming and popped in a couple of times to make sure everything was to our liking.I really couldn't fault anything about our stay it was absolutely perfect!!
