Some guests noted the proximity to a train line and suggested minor improvements, but overall experiences were overwhelmingly positive.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently report that the cottage is very clean and well maintained. One review suggested more attention to detail with cleaning, but this appears to be an isolated comment amidst general satisfaction.

The location is appreciated for its proximity to attractions and natural beauty, though some guests noted difficulty finding the property and the presence of a nearby train line. However, the peacefulness and scenery are frequently praised.

The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, mentioning the cosy atmosphere and quality furnishings. A few guests suggested that a larger sofa or additional seating could enhance comfort further.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the private hot tub. Some guests suggested the addition of a small freezer space and a footstool. Maintenance of the hot tub and gardens is noted as excellent.

While many reviews express gratitude for the hosts' friendliness and helpfulness, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Beautiful views, Great location, Amazing hot tub and owners were very friendly and welcoming. Only negative is the mattress wasn't comfortable. The owners supplied us with a mattress topper to take the edge off which was very kind of them!

Made our anniversary special. The cottage itself is beautiful and love how you've kept certain things to show the age of the place. It was so cosy and comfortable and the hot tub was a nice little extra feature to help you relax. I have always been scared of sheep but staying here also helped me overcome my fear. Even had a little visit from the owners dog and all I can say is what a handsome boy. The only thing I would say needs to have a slight change is the steps to the hot tub. I would suggest a slip mat on them as the steps become quiet slippy as you get out of the hot tub.
