Enjoy the fantastic Dorset countryside and sea views from Fossil and The Cross Cottage, a converted stone built cottage.  The setting is wonderful, with gardens overlooking the South West Dorset Coast and fields of West Bexington which slope down to the sea.  Fossil and The Cross Cottage, with its two bedrooms and sociable kitchen / lounge / diner, is perfect for a small family or couple's break.  From the lounge, in sunny weather, open the patio doors and enjoy the patio area with table and chairs and beyond this a lawned area where you can relax, have a picnic or play a game.  In chilly weather snuggle up in the lounge, add some wood to the log burner and partake in a warming hot chocolate.  Pull on some wellingtons for a walk and with a short hop and skip across two fields and you will find yourself directly on a stretch of the world famous Chesil Beach.  This stretch of beach is frequented by fishermen and you will often see them sitting under their colourful little tents, it's also a haven for walkers and sun worshippers.  A little tea room is within walking distance following the path across the field, ideal for a cup of tea after a hearty walk or just head home to your comfy, compact, cottage sheltered from the elements; kick off your wellies and warm your feet by the log burner. Fossil and The Cross is charming and full of character. Relax off the beaten track to the sounds of birds rather than sit in traffic; in fact the cottage is accessed via a partially unmade road.  Come and enjoy time away from your busy life at The Fossil and The Cross.

The Fossil and The Cross, Whispering Pines and Mimosa Cottage and are surrounded by lovely gardens.  Whilst each cottage has a distinct and separte area for their use, these gardens are not enclosed and are on different levels, so children should be supervised.
