Church Farm Cottage is in the village of Broadmayne near Dorchester. Inside this lovely period cottage there is plenty of character with an open fire and exposed beams. Outside there is a pretty enclosed garden. The village has good amenities including a post office / shop, pub and a regular bus service to Dorchester. There are footpaths straight from the property and miles of countryisde to discover. The county town of Dorchester is around four miles away and has a variety of good shopping, restaurants (including one with a Michelin star), museums and a cinema. The beaches at Ringstead Bay, at around five miles away and Lulworth Cove at around ten miles away are an easy drive. The main resort of Weymouth is around seven miles away and along with a fabulously long sandy beach you can also enjoy traditional entertainments such as Punch and Judy and donkey rides. Church Farm Cottage is a good choice for a `getting away from it all break', which is still just a short drive from all the amenities you may require whilst on holiday.
