Little Seagulls, Bridport.

Bridport is thriving ancient market town close to the Jurassic Coastline at West Bay a World Heritage Site and fishing port of West Bay just 1 1/2 miles away and is the perfect location to explore the town, coastline and surrounding countryside. Bridport is gaining a deserved reputation as quite a gastronomic centre with some excellent restaurants and cafes and plenty of fresh food available to buy. A twice weekly street market offers locally produced food, antiques, bric a brac and lots more.

There is a large sandy beach at West Bay and are other beaches close by at Charmouth, Weymouth and Lyme Regis. The South West Coast path goes in either direction and offers some spectacular views of Lyme Bay and the unspoilt countryside. There are numerous walks, trails and footpaths to explore the region and many other holiday amenities are nearby, including sailing, golf and riding. There are regular bus links from Bridport, along the coast, to Weymouth and Poole in one direction and to Lyme Regis and Exeter in the other. 

Abbotsbury, Montacute House and Weymouth Sea Life Centre are among the interesting places to visit nearby. The County town of Dorchester lies approximately 14 miles to the East. 

Accommodation 

Recently refurbished to a high standard, the limited but immaculate accommodation includes: 

Light and sunny living area furnished with sofa bed, electric wood burning stove, digital television with DVD player, dining table and 4 chairs, sideboard and display cabinet. 

Kitchen area with granite work surface, gas hob, electric ovens, 'fridge with small freezer compartment and microwave oven. It is fully equipped for 6 people. 

Bedroom with twin beds and walk-in hanging cupboard. 

Bathroom with basin, bath with shower over and WC. 

Outside, visitors have priority use of attractive and sunny courtyard with pots and picnic table, which is shared with the owner who lives in the adjoining cottage. 

There is use of an automatic washing machine in the outside washhouse. 

Towels and tea towels are supplied. Beds are made up with duvets and pillows, and bedding provided for the sofa bed if required.
