Surrounded by glorious Devonshire countryside is the Sandbar Lodge, complete with solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system. Sandbar Lodge is the perfect destination for a family or group of friends looking to sample an easier pace of life.

This eco-lodge has a beautifully bright living, kitchen and dining area with a log burner to cosy up beside on a winter’s evening. The modern kitchen is well equipped and the dining area is perfect for the whole clan to gather over a delicious meal. The bedrooms provide the perfect place in which to recharge those batteries after a busy day.

From the living area you can step out onto the decked terrace area complete with a picnic bench and parasol; what better place could there be to sit and enjoy those beautiful views? If that isn’t enough, there’s even a bubbling hot tub for ultimate relaxation.

Conveniently set just off the A379, just outside the traditional village of Cockwood, Portmile Lodges are the perfect destination if you want to escape and enjoy the surrounding country views. The village has two friendly, local pubs and you can take a scenic walk along the estuary to Starcross. If you prefer to spend your days wandering around the shops and stopping for a spot of lunch, Exeter is just a 20 minute drive away. Also, the golden sands and sand dunes at Dawlish Warren are just a 5 minute drive away.
