However I think the water temperature needs turning down as both the adults burnt themselves when washing up!

Two families with children aged between 5 and 14. Space, facilities and location of the property were perfect with the added bonus of the weather for the end of October/start of November being much better than expected. The kitchen has clearly been equipped by someone who cooks and we didn’t find ourselves needing anything when we cooked at home. Beds were comfy, as were the sofas for lounging about in the evenings and the split levels of the house meant we never felt on top of each other and the children were able to spread out doing their individual things. Salcombe delivered as always. We enjoyed long walks to south sands, lunch at the winking prawn, dinner at Dick and Wills and the Crab Shed and a couple of lazy afternoons in the distillery bar!!! Our only suggestion would be to consider if a parking permit could be provided for a second car as in low season the road was full of spaces we couldn’t use. Will definitely consider this property when we come to salcombe again.

It is a great property. Well appointed kitchen and the seating was very comfortable. We would suggest a coffee machine might be a good idea. We were seven adults so a dedicated drinks fridge would have been useful. We found it difficult to get our towels dry in the bathroom downstairs so having the heater rail on would be better. Thank you
