About this property

in Noss Mayo, within 200 yards of its excellent pubs, an 18th cent. cottage flanked by its equally historic neighbours, facing across a little access lane to its front garden (table/chairs) and the estuary. At the back, a terraced garden with shed (freezer) and steps up to sheltered decking (table/chairs) and lofty views between chimneys to the estuary.

Inside, a comfortable home with lovely designer fabrics, furnishings and wall paints, beams and considerable charm. Front stable doors into living room with sofa bed (for alternative sleeping) and TV/DVD; double bedroom with TV/DVD and en suite bathroom (suite, shower over bath, cupboard with washing machine and tumble drier). Stairs (5'10" ceiling in one place) from living room up to kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave) with granite worktops, estuary views and back door to garden; another double bedroom (5’ bed, limited clothes-hanging space) with en suite shower-room (suite) and estuary views. Freezer in shed. Arrival after 4pm. A lovely cottage.

"This cottage is in an excellent location; two pubs within 5 mins walk, three at low tide. The garden at the front is a small oasis calm and private, the rear decking extends access to the sun and has excellent views. have stayed twice and look forward to our next stay."

  • Holidaymaker

"This was our second stay in this cottage and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time! The location is delightful, close to a friendly pub with great food and lots of walks nearby. Inside, it's like a home from home, very cosy and comfortable. We will certainly be back!"
