The house was very good in a beautiful setting. It was very close to the beach with stunning views. The overall quality of the house and fixtures was very good. Coastguards is ideally located a very short (couple of minutes) walk to Burgh Island and Bigbury beach. It benefits from a lounge and balcony upstairs which boasts an amazing view of the Burgh Island hotel and the beautiful coastline. We were lucky enough to be staying at the property during a full moon and a clear night, which made the experience even more magical. The property itself is very light, has three good size bedrooms, a well designed and modern living room/kitchen with all amenities, and a washer & dryer which are essential if you have children and are staying more than a couple of days! The close proximity of Coastguards to the beach means you can easily pop back for anything when you wish in just a few minutes - very convenient.The Bigbury beach is constantly changing due to the tide ebbing and flowing from two sides and the water tractor that takes you to the Burgh Island hotel is often essential if you want to walk up to the top of the island itself (well worth it for fantastic views).Highly recommended as a location and holiday property.
