Overview

Stancombe Cottage is a beautifully furnished cottage providing a high level of peace and privacy. Set by itself in over an acre, its elevated position takes full advantage of the stunning country views. The property which can accommodate up to 8 guests, is situated just 15 minutes drive from Kingsbridge and 30 minutes from Salcombe making it a perfect base from which to explore the whole of South Devon. Guests staying at Stancombe Cottage are welcome to use the facilities of nearby Stancombe Manor. These include and indoor heated swimming pool, snooker room, children play area and tennis court.

Kitchen

Stylish and well equipped kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, freezer, microwave, oven/hob and refrigerator. The utility room houses a washing machine and drier.

Living Space

Sit and enjoy the log burner and underfloor heating in the winter or open the French doors in the summer and enjoy the views.

Bedrooms

Bedroom one is located on the ground floor with easy access, this is a good size double room with French doors onto the patio and stunning countryside views. This room benefits from an En suite shower room and a WC. Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and has views over the front of the cottage. There are twin beds however these can be converted to a Kingsize bed. Bedroom 3 again located on the first floor has a double bed as well as an en suite shower room and WC. On this floor you can also find the bunk bed room which also has an additional single pull out bed.

Bathrooms

The property has a large family bathroom on the first floor with a shower, WC and free standing bath. There are also 2 en-suites included in the ground floor bedroom and bedroom 3 on the first floor.

Conservatory

A fantastic space to relax and take in the beautiful countryside views or watch TV with 42 inches FreeSat or a DVD. For the colder months there is also underfloor heating.

Outside Space

There is a large patio surrounding the cottage which due to the nature of paving, has some uneven areas. There are several French doors from the property which open onto this area and plenty of seating allowing guests to take full advantage of the amazing views. The three lawned areas are sloping and therefore care should be exercised. Small children should be supervised and care taken by the elderly and infirm.
