The Coach House is roomy and bright and beautifully furnished with antiques and charming paintings. You open the door on the original tack room, still with its pine panelling and saddle racks but now a welcoming hall. From here, head through to the spacious sitting room, all lovely and light with its ceiling height windows and cosy wood burning stove. The large kitchen is a fine room for preparing and enjoying family meals with its dining area and door to the big greenhouse which leads through to your garden. Take the stairs up to your three bedrooms, all pretty and with handy en suites. The Coach House is a charming base for exploring the lovely area or simply relaxing.

Ottery St Mary sits beside the River Otter and is well known for its literary connections to the poet Coleridge and for its beautiful church often referred to as a Exeter cathedral lookalike. Ottery St Mary is also famous for its traditional 'Tar Barrels' which attracts more than 3000 visitors on 5th November each year.

Note: Over Whitsun bank holiday week in May, a church fête and other charity events and the National Garden scheme are held at Cadhay and the walled garden is open over August bank holiday, when a section of the garden is roped off for your privacy.
