With a modern seaside feel, it is a comfortable base for families or friends to enjoy walking, the beach and the lovely scenery. Take the steps up to the hall and through to your comfortable welcoming sitting room. The kitchen is neat and efficient with a dining table and chairs in the centre. Head on up for a good nights rest in the three smart bedrooms. Lovely for relaxing on sunny days is the sheltered enclosed courtyard at the rear with outdoor furniture, leading on up to a couple of elevated terraces with toys in a summer house, enclosed decking with table and chairs. Stroll into the heart of the village to enjoy the shops, restaurants and galleries or to sit by the harbour and watch waves break on the pebbly beach. You can take tours of the amazing chalk caves or go on fishing trips to catch your supper. Golf and coastal walks are relaxing activities, or head to Exeter for cathedral city attractions. The Margarets is a comfortable and convenient base for enjoying this lovely area.
Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction

The housebook needs updating in view of recent renovations e.g. how to operate CH. there is now no airing cupboard. BIns were full but owner kindly came and put them out for collection. It needs to be made clear which kinds of waste should go in which bins e.g. plastics, glass bottles. Otherwise a most comfortable and well-appointed house.

Thanks to Brenda but special thanks to the neighbours who were polite and went out of their way to provide advice on parking, local events and were so welcoming! We didnât get the weather we had hoped for everyday but the house was so comfortable we really didnât mind staying in a little longer than we usually would. We will definitely come again and look forward to it.
