Excellent walking from the cottages, including a footpath to the pubs, shops and railway station at Axminster. Each cottage has its own private patio (picnic table, bench). Inside, the original character has been carefully retained, with pine floors throughout and timber rafters, sympathetically combined with 21st cent. comfort. Shared laundry room (two washing machines, two tumble driers). Pretty cottages in a place of peace with amenities within easy reach and the treasures of the ‘Jurassic Coast’ nearby.
Chattan Forge: Three steps down from parking area to patio from which 2 steps down to front door. Small step up into open-plan living/dining/kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with TV/DVD. Two good-sized bedrooms – a double and a twin, each with en suite shower-room.

"The owner had left milk and bread this was a nice touch, a great way to start the week, it is important to contact the owner prior to obtain access code for front door if you arrive a bit early, We meet the owner later in the day and was shown had to use every thing For our holiday this was great location as you could walk into Axminster, Thank you every one for a great holiday in Axminster and Devon area "
