Snaptrip says

Bluebell Cottage is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and high-quality furnishings. The rural setting offers lovely views, and the hot tub is a popular feature. Some guests mentioned minor maintenance issues and a lack of privacy in the garden area. The proximity to a busy road was noted as a downside by a few reviewers.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Bluebell Cottage to be very clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated incidents of cleanliness issues upon arrival, which seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is appreciated for its rural charm and views, but some guests were dissatisfied with the proximity to a busy road and the distance from local amenities, such as pubs and shops.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy beds and furnishings. However, some noted thin walls and noise transfer as detractors from the overall comfort.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub, although there are comments about minor maintenance issues and the need for additional amenities like toiletries and basic supplies.

Situated on the coast, across from Morecambe Bay is the small village of Aldingham. Local folklore says that the village was once a mile long and that many of the cottages were washed away. Aldingham also has a reputation as a smuggler's village, the perpetrators hiding brandy from France and tobacco from America within the church crypt. The village itself is close to Furness Abbey as well as the ancient market town of Ulverston, just five miles away. Ulverston boasts a street market every Thursday and Saturday, in addition to many festivals throughout the year. These include an amazing lantern procession in November and an atmospheric Dickensian weekend in early December. The town is also the birthplace of Stan Laurel, famous for his work with Oliver Hardy, and as such is home to the only museum dedicated to this double act in the world. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park and the sandy beaches of the Furness Coast, this quiet and peaceful area has plenty to offer!

Unfortunately the drainage in one of the en suites had a problem . The shower tray overflowed into the rest of the bathroom and the water in the toilet after flushing reached the top of the bowl which was worrying . I hope It was fixed because it was a lovely cottage .

Wouldn't return due to the noise transfer between the wooden inter-connecting door in the living room to the nextdoor property. The noise from nextdoor was excessively loud where you could hear the TV and people talking quite clearly

It was nice waking up seeing the sheep outside. We requested 2 cot beds and when we arrived they hadn't been set up but after ringing the office they sorted this very quickly (think they had been set up in the neighboring cottage by mistake) the site manager was super helpful. Used the log burner and hot tub during the stay which we needed due to the recent weather! Few maintenance notes - the headrest on one part of the hot tub kept coming loose we had to keep sticking back on. The bottom part of the oven also didn't work during our stay but we made do with the top part with no issues. A note to anyone taking a baby - the front bedroom is probably better as not as loud during windy weather! Would definitely stay again!
