Beyond your trendy retreat and within easy reach you will find many famous Cotswold villages and towns such as Cirencester, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Cheltenham and Bath. The Cotswold Water Park just along the lane also offers a host of activities including water skiing, cable skiing, archery, shooting, paintballing, golf, aerial adventure, angling, horse riding, sailing, canoeing and rally driving. We had a fantastic weekend at Honey cottage, getting all the ‘girls’ together to relax. The house is warm and comfortable with everything you need, especially in the kitchen. The bubbly left for us by the owner was a really nice touch. The surrounding estate is really beautiful and we had a gorgeous walk along the Thames path and around the lakes, followed by a swim in the open air pool which was really enjoyable even in November as it’s heated to 30 degrees. The only drawback is only having one parking space (and a narrow one at that) for such a large house - not helpful when trying to drop off luggage and supplies for the weekend. Also, we arrived on a dark, rainy evening and it was difficult to find the house without a torch. Otherwise an amazing stay! Thank you.

Ideal location for our birthday celebration weekend for nine of us.House was well equipped, clean and tidy and we all had a lovely time, helped by good weather!Plenty of facilities on site and only 10 mins drive to Cirencester which has a great range of shops and interesting buildings.Very happy with everything .
