About this property

Nestled back from a quiet street, Spring Cottage is a beautiful, period holiday home that has been finished in a high quality. Located in the highly desirable village of Ebrington, this luxury cottage is ideal for friends or families seeking to explore the Cotswolds.

Access the cottage via the shared path and open the front door into the stunning contemporary sitting room that contains oak beams, exposed Cotswold stone walls and a large inglenook fireplace with a warming woodburning stove, creating the perfect space for you and your loved ones to chill out of an evening whilst watching your favourite show on the Freeview TV.

Leading from the sitting room, with direct access to the kitchen is the lovely dining room containing a beautiful, large oak dining table where you can enjoy your meals.

A small step leads to the well-equipped kitchen where you can make use of the traditional AGA cooker, and combined microwave/convection oven to cook up delicious meals, whilst listening to your favourite tunes through the Amazon Alexa. Cleaning up is a breeze as you have a dishwasher on hand, as well as a handy washer/dryer for your clothes!

Conveniently completing the ground-floor is a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC.

When the night draws to a close, a choice of three lovely bedrooms rest on the first floor; two king-size rooms and one single room, all sharing the floor with the family bathroom.

In the morning, catch the sunrise in the beautiful, mature garden, where you can take a seat at the rattan table and chairs and marvel at the beautiful surroundings. Be sure to make use of the charcoal barbecue when the weather allows!

Pop on your walking boots and explore your local surroundings! Ebrington is well-known for its award-winning local pub, the Ebrington Arms, as well as its stone and thatched cottages with old farmhouses which give this village its character in the gently folding hills east of Chipping Campden.

Parts of the village church of St Eadburgha date back to the 13th Century and the church features numerous monuments to the Fortescue family, the owners of Ebrington Manor, which itself has a history dating back to the 14th Century.

The village is approximately two miles away from the famous market town of Chipping Campden, with its wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, with historic sites such as the 17th-century market hall, maintained by the National Trust, and the fascinating art on display at Campden Gallery.

Venture further afield to the medieval market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, famously known as the birthplace of William Shakespeare, where you can explore the heritage of the writer's childhood home, discover the period wattle-and-daub at Anne Hathaway's Cottage and no trip would be complete without a visit to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Close by is one of the principal market towns in the North Cotswolds, Moreton-in-Matsh, which is situated on the Fosse Way. The town was granted its market charter in 1227 and there still is a busy Tuesday market, with about 200 stalls attracting many visitors.

With plenty to see and do on your doorstep, make Spring Cottage your base.

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
