Itâs less than an hour walk into Bourton-on-the-Water, then a taxi back which cost us £20, a bit pricy but more than happy to pay it to avoid the walk back. The cottage was very cosy, nice to relax in front of the wood burner after a long day out and about, the hot tub was also worth paying the extra £50. The only thing I would have liked more of in the cottage is more cooking pans and dishes and bathroom cleaning product but thatâs just a minor criticism, we would definitely return

I would have liked a long mirror in the bedroom but overall a fabulous stay.

The location is lovely, quiet and is in close proximities to some great towns to visit. We did feel that there were some areas that needed some attention to therefore make it more worthy of the advertised price. There were an array of little things that could have been improved - things such as chipped paint, the extractor fan in the bathroom not working, no dishwasher tablets, very small television in the bedroom, lots of random belongings in the wardrobe, allowing dogs to stay but no accessible outside tap to wash them down etc etc. We were also somewhat expecting the cottage to be fitted out in Christmas decorations, perhaps at least a Christmas tree. - it is again these things that we expected at this price point. Itâs a nice place to stay but it needs a little work.
