This contemporary cottage enjoys a peaceful location in an elevated position just minutes away from the village hub. Perfectly placed to take advantage of all that Blockley has to offer but ideally located to ensure a tranquil stay.
Blockley is a delightful golden stone village, situated within the rolling hills of the North Cotswolds between Moreton-in-Marsh (with direct rail links to London Paddington) and Chipping Campden, with an abundance of walks over the surrounding countryside. Blockley's beautiful church, churchyard and vicarage are used for the filming of "Father Brown", a period BBC detective drama. The village boasts many other historic buildings including a converted water mill along the brook; a fabulous community run café and well stocked shop and two pubs within walking distance. Also nearby are Stow-on-the-Wold, Broadway, and Bourton-on-the-Water.
You’ll also be within easy striking distance of Cotswold hot spots Chipping Campden, Stow-on the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh and when you return to your home from home after a busy day, muted tones and restful interiors ensure complete relaxation.

A lovely week despite the intense heat which meant we had to hide indoors for 3 afternoons. 34 degrees outside today so no enjoying the conservatory! A great base for enjoying the Cotswolds and lovely for our cockapoo to have the park just across the road. A shame we didn't find the brook dog bathing area until nearly our last day but a lovely surprise. Ebrington Arms great for Sunday lunch, the local cafe does good food and so many cafes around Batsford Park a good walk and worth seeing. Broadway, Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters all worth a visit.
