The historic village of Bourton-on-the-Water, located in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, dates back to Neolithic times and has over 100 structures that are Grade II listed or higher. The bustling high street nestles against the River Windrush, which is crossed by several low stone bridges, which is why Bourton-on-the-Water is known as the Cotswolds' Venice. The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens, as well as a Dragonfly Maze, monthly farmers' market, various tea places, an artisan bakery, antiques and craft markets, traditional sweet store, cycle hire, and its very own perfumery, are among the village's visiting attractions.
