Stone Barn is a light and airy contemporary barn conversion with a wonderful open-plan living space, situated just outside the picturesque village of Upper Swell and within two miles of the popular market town of Stow-on-the-wold.
Accommodating up to eight adults and two children with access to 12 acres of shared pasture, both a tennis and badminton court, and a pitch-and-put course during the summertime, Stone Barn is an idyllic location for a family holiday. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, one of which is on the ground floor, and a sociable sitting/dining/kitchen space, this is the perfect property for a multi-generational family group or group of friends. Clean, contemporary lines and boutique style interiors combine to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Stow-on-the-Wold with its many pubs and restaurants, as well as interesting independent shops, is just a short drive away and many of the Cotswold hotspots can be easily explored from this location.

A group of friends & I booked Stone Barn to attend a wedding and we were very impressed! The accommodation was lovely, the property is excellently equipped and comfortable, and was close to the venue. The hosts were very accommodating with providing a high chair and travel cot for the youngest member of the group, which saved the parents needing to bring those items. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it felt like a proper holiday, despite only being 2 hours from home!

Stone barn was an ideal venue for my husband’s milestone birthday celebrations allowing us to celebrate with our children, grandchildren and a dog. We enjoyed eating together round the large dining table. The open plan space worked well for us allowing the children plenty of room to play.
