The property boasts stunning views and a prime location for exploring the Cotswolds, with wildlife sightings adding to the charm. Guests appreciate the well-stocked necessities and the warm welcome from the owners. While some find the seating and bed comfort to personal taste, the overall experience is enjoyable.
Mixed feedback on cleanliness, with several guests noting areas needing attention, such as dead flies, finger marks, and dust. However, others found the property clean and comfortable, suggesting inconsistency in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its perfect positioning for exploring the Cotswolds, offering fantastic views and proximity to local attractions. The peaceful setting and easy access to Bourton-on-the-Water are consistent highlights.
Comfort receives varied responses; some guests find the seating and beds less suitable for adults, while others enjoy the comfort provided. The personal preference for traditional suites and the mention of low beds suggest room for improvement.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-resourced cottage and added entertainment like a pool table. Criticisms include the need for more cutlery and crockery for larger groups and minor maintenance issues like bulb replacements.
While the owners are noted for their helpfulness and friendliness, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should not expect such extras.
