Within the village itself you will be spoilt for choice by the attractions that await you, including The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, as well as the Birdland Park and Gardens. For those feeling adventurous, head to the city of Oxford or spend the day within the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Bourton-on-the-Water is a historic village resting within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Within the village you will find over 100 buildings being Grade II listed or higher and a high street which lies along the River Windrush. Here, you will also find a number of attractions which include The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens as well as a Dragonfly Maze.

The welcome chocolates and bottle of milk were very much appreciated. Forgot to write in the 'visitor' book but the cooker door doesn't close properly - probably just needs screws tightening, but it did mean that the oven didn't cook evenly. But apart from that we found no fault with everything that was provided.

Enjoyed our stay. Garden a safe space for our dog. Garden furniture in poor condition and needs to be replaced. Decking area is rotten in the middle therefore unsafe. Although made aware of road noise in cottage information provided it was a lot noisier than anticipated. We would not return to this property purely based on the location and noise.

The one and only drawback I have, which has nothing to do with the Cottage, is changing on a Friday, itâs the worst day of the week to travel on British roads.
