In Bourton-on-the-Water, the Cotswolds' Venice, the river Windrush flows through a series of low stone bridges, making it a popular destination for tourists. Football is played in the River Windrush in the summer, with spectators lining the banks, in an effort to score as many goals and get as wet as possible!! The Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens, a Dragonfly Maze, a monthly farmers' market, numerous tea rooms, an artisan bakery, antiques and craft markets, traditional sweet shop, cycle hire, and the village's very own perfumery are just some of the attractions in the village.
