Children will love the play zone (for under twelves only) and the large playing field. The conservatory bar has a spacious decking area where guests can plan the following days activities as the sun sets with a refreshing drink in hand. The nearby town of Padstow is just 3 miles away, here guests can enjoy dining at celebrity owned restaurants, take part in a number of watersports activities or simply explore this fishing port. St Merryn is a typical Cornish village, located within two miles of the coast and close to the harbour and fishing port of Padstow. St Merryn offers two pubs, three restaurants, mini markets and a Post Office and there are many attractions nearby. 11 miles away is Newquay which has three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, ideal for watersports. There is also good shopping , a zoo and Sealife centres, as well as nightlife.

The mat inside the doorway was filthy with grass or hair and covered in bits. The shower curtain was mouldy and I found cobwebs in at least 5 different areas. The cooker had dried good stuck on the inside of it and under the bead was dirty also. I cleaned the chalet on entering using a full pack of deft wipes,all in one cleaner and air freshener. The comlex itself is really nice ,the play area of great and the staff in reception and the bar were lovely.

The pictures make you think itâs bigger. The shower curtain was mouldy, there was no back on the control so batteries were on show to our toddler which isnât ideal. The signal is poor and the WiFi doesnât reach the chalet. Beds are okay but the sitting area is very dated and tv very small. The chalet needs updating a bit and maybe put a nice corner sofa in !

It was very clean around the site and most important very quiet.A lovely site and everyone from the people at reception and the restaurant/bar were very welcoming and helpful. The chalet was clean, would have liked the fridge to have a freezer but other than that we were supplied with everything needed. Thank you
