About this property

… in Pendeen, ½ mile from one of its pubs and within a World Heritage Site, four cottages on a small farm (some retired animals, some free range poultry) which has been in the same family for a century. Lovely long views to the sea and along the coast from them all.

The Old Farmhouse:  sturdy, granite 200 year-old house, totally at one with the magnificent, rugged landscape with knobbly whitewashed walls, exposed beamwork and simple decor.  At the front, a neat enclosed walled garden (table/chairs). Door to hall with tiled floor; cosy living-room with granite inglenook (woodburner), TV/DVD;  generous-sized kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, freezer, larder fridge) with a magnificent granite inglenook (woodburner); ground-floor bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Steep stairs up to study with TV, sofa and great view out to sea; three bedrooms – a double, a twin and a single with a great view (no clothes-hanging). A timeless place with long sea views and big horizons.

"We liked the cottage and loved the peaceful location. The cottage views were amazing and we liked it for that. It was perfect location for our holiday. I do feel that it just needs a few added extras (kitchen) to make it a bit more comfortable."
