What a fantastic location very close to beach and only a few minutes walk away from harbour pubs restaurants and shops lovely place if you’re a tidy person so ideal for us, it was so nice to hear the sea when in bed with widows open.

We had a lovely holiday in this cottage. We couldn't believe how close it was to the beach ( about 20 steps after coming out of the courtyard) This cottage is traditional and quirky and we loved it. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed too.

Overall the accommodation was mainly as described. We have stayed in small cottages before in St Ives so expected it to be compact. Location brilliant and everything worked as it should. Negatives for us were: No hairdryer - we travel on the train so try to pack light. I read that 3* and above properties come with a hairdryer so left mine at home... No washing powder - we pick up essentials when we arrive such as toilet roll, tea bags etc but it would be nice to not have to buy a full box of this when I only want to wash 1 lot of clothing. The rug in the living room needs changing or just leaving out. I'd rather have a hard floor than an old soft one! Lastly, and this could be my error, but I requested towels when booking but they were not supplied. I don't recall getting any information to say that I would need to pay/book this separately?
