Enjoy breakfast at the café overlooking the beach and grab your local produce at the village bakery, butchers and greengrocers, of course with cafes, coffee shops and pub restaurants in the village, you may wish to leave your chef's hat behind! Trevaunance Cove, with its own surf school, is great for a swim, surf or just to dip your toes or Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and the small pebbly cove at Trevellas are within a short drive away or accessible along Cornwall's World Heritage North Coast Path. A little further up the coast you will find Newquay with its well-known stretches of beaches, white surfing waves, entertainment and nightlife for the young at heart.
