Rosen is a very smart first-floor apartment, situated in Newquay, just a minutes stroll from Fistral Beach. It has sea glimpses from two balconies with bistro table and chairs to take advantage of the opportunities for alfresco dining. Take the lift up from the parking bay and step through the entrance door into the hall through to the open-plan living-dining room and kitchen which has floor to ceiling sliding glazed doors to the balcony enjoying sea glimpses to the headland. There are two bedrooms a king-size with balcony and en suite shower-room and a twin which is zip-linkable to a king-size double, with TV and balustrade, and there is a family bathroom. Outdoor shower and surf locker. This is a superbly located apartment for relaxing after a fun day at the beach. There is so much to do and see in this lively town, and nearby there is Watergate Bay, good golf and National Trust Trerice House to visit.
Newquay is the home of the UK's surf scene, boasting three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a water sports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember.

instructions for what to do on leaving could have been updated, could not find bins outside to dispose of rubbish, no instructions on where to leave linen and towels for our particular accommodation.

There is so much choice out there in therms of accommodation, but I have to say how lucky we feel to have found Rosen. It is in a great location; 5 minutes walk and you are on the beach, everywhere else you want to go in the area is a 20 minute walk, maximum. The property is in a quiet location, is extremely modern (loved the Sonos across the property), extremely comfortable (very welcome after an 8 hour journey from home, and then after a tiring day in the sea), and we thought the views were great - we loved waking each morning and checking the surf (and admiring the skill of the surfers) from the second bedroom (the room with the best view in our opinion). The views are limited (due to property in front), but we felt the description âsea glimpsesâ was almost too cautious, as we found the views of the sea and the golf course to be great, and varied from room to room. Very modern kitchen appliances and every utensil, plates, cups, glasses etc you could ever need. Bathrooms luxurious and the towels provided were of the highest quality. The outdoor shower was a welcome addition as it allowed us to wash the sand off after each day at the beach, to avoid taking into the apartment. The whole place felt safe and secure, including the private parking. And finally, a shout out to the housekeeper Tracey - the apartment was spotless when we arrived, her communication prior to our visit and on arrival was second to none. Thank you also to Tim and Tina, the owners, almost instant reply when I had a couple of questions. There is no doubt we will be returning to Newquay, and Rosen will be our accommodation of choice if available.
